Summer is coming close to ending. School has begun...WOO HOO!!!! The boys are loving it....and so is mom! Things with the house are pretty much at a stand still. The money just isn't there to be doing much decorating. We still have a few rooms to paint and some trim to put up. We would like to concentrate a little more on the landscaping out front. We seem to have had some unwanted neighbors decide to build their home under our shed in the backyard. SKUNKS! UGH, can you believe it? What a pain in the butt! We've bought some stuff that will hopefully get rid of them.

Kenneth is doing great! He has started the 1st grade and is loving it! He's always loved school. So, he now goes all day long and has lunch at school. He wasn't too sure about eating hot lunch at school, but he has decided he enjoys it. He's having a great time making new friends in his new class. Bert has started teaching the boys how to fish, so they're having fun with that. Kenneth is still the little performer, he puts on shows almost every night. He just loves to sing! He's getting so big! He's trying to learn to ride his bike without training wheels. Hasn't gotten it down yet, but still trying.

Cody turned 5 years old this summer. Two days before his birthday he learned to ride his bike without training wheels. Kenneth is a little jealous, because Cody learned to do it first...but Kenneth is still trying. Cody has now graduated into the Kids Quest at church. That's kinda like a "childrens church". So, now he's with his brother. Kenneth has taught him the ropes and Cody is LOVING it. He also started Kindergarten. He loves going to school everyday. Mom loves it too! Everyday she gets 2 1/2 hours of FREE TIME. Pretty soon he'll be getting homework. We've started him on flash cards with sight words on them. He's getting so big!
